Community Involvement

The Brentwood Animal Hospital is proud to be a supporter of the Northwest Florida Wildlife Foundation. The Foundation cares for the wounded animals in Escambia County Florida.

Dr. Burnett is on the Board of Directors of Friends In Survival and Hope, Inc. a 501(3)c non-profit, public charity that provides financial assistance to individuals and their families that have been diagnosed with terminal illness.

The Brentwood Animal Hospital also works with Animal Allies by spaying, neutering, and treating feral cats
that they trap, as well as the ones that they are able to adopt out after trapping. These services are performed at a discounted price.

About Animal Allies:

· Reduce the number of animals put down every year in the Florida
Panhandle (more than 12,000)

· Spay or neuter as many animals as possible (especially feral cats)

· Educate the public about the importance of spay and neuter

· Help rehome animals in need

Animal Allies was founded in 2010 to support Trap-Neuter-Return efforts of
many. We hold classes on how to TNR, as well as socialize kittens and bring
in friendly stray cats that can be adopted. We really appreciate Brentwood
Animal Hospital working with us and helping us humanely reduce the local
cat population.
